| Description | Richard Glynn Vivian and Gustave Doré had been friends for a number of years prior to the artist's death in 1882. Glynn Vivian purchased a large volume of Doré's work in the subsequent studio sale. This work is an almost exact copy of Rubens's The Holy Trinity, with only a few minor compositional changes. |
