| Description | Bust-length portrait; torso and head turned to proper right, eyes facing viewer. Brown hair, put high, dressed with flowers; black and gold embroidered dress; very large wheel ruff; pearl drop earring. Red background. The original is one of a pair of pendant portraits by Rubens of 1615 (probably the pair now in the Prado, Madrid). |
