| Description | This is a copy of Rubens's work of the same name in the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC. The original is oil on panel and is dated 1625. In this later copy by an unknown artist, the panel is unprimed, rendering the form of the wood very apparent. This is most likely to be a nineteenth-century copy, the location of production unknown. |
